Step back in time at Morrill Farm bed & breakfast, the perfect spot for those looking for peace and tranquillity. A warm welcome awaits you at our 200 year old farm, situated in the western mountain foothills of Maine. In summer relax on our old fashion front porch or enjoy the shade of the maple tree. Listen to the sounds of farm life. We also raise beef cattle, milking cows, pigs, goats and chickens. We have a dog, 3 cats & 1 horses. Also enjoy nature trails and fishing in the river that flows through our 217 acre farm. We are 5 minutes away from hiking trails, ponds for canoeing & swimming. Many other attractions are within 30 minutes. In fall come enjoy the impressive foliage. If your timing is right, you may see apple harvesting and pressing apple cider. The area is also known for great hunting. In winter, from December 1 to April 1, we are open only to groups of 4 or more for a minimum 2 night stay. Come have a hearty farm breakfast by the old cookstove. We have access to snowmobile trails and you can cross country ski right from our back door. We are minutes away from Mt. Abrams and Sunday River Ski resort. We are 90 minutes from Portland and Freeport, home of L.L. Bean. No smoking. Pets: Our daughter Pauline, a vet tech, operates Pauline's Farm Kennel on the premises. Pets are welcome to stay in the kennel for a small fee of $15.00 a night. Deposits: Deposits equal to one night stay or 50% of the visit, whichever is greater. The remaining balance will be payable on arrival. Payment by check must be received 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy: Seven (7) days notice of cancellation is required for a refund. A cancellation with less than 7 days notice will be refunded only if the vacancy is filled. A $20.00 service charge will be applied. Directions: From Maine Turnpike coming north, take exit 11 in Gray, take Rt. 26 to West Paris, turn right going east on Rt. 219, follow Morill Farm B & B signs. Coming south from Augusta, take Rt. 202 to Winthrop, take Rt. 133 to Wayne, look for Rt. 219 West. Stay on Rt. 219 head for East Sumner. You'll see Roll-In Variety, take a right onto Greenwood road.
